In fact, I hate bragging.
This isn’t bragging. It’s proof. Proof of the power behind email marketing.
On August 9, 2016, I bought this Jeep:
I inherited the 1972 boat you see me pulling behind the Jeep from my wife’s Grandpa, who is no longer with us.
I had the boat out on Lake Erie this past weekend for the first time in 13 years. It ran great.
Though, today, I want to talk about the Jeep.
I’m a Jeep guy. I had one 15 years ago and wrecked it. Since then, I’ve had 3 kids and it just wasn’t a practical vehicle.
Now, the boys are old enough to climb up the tires and jump in.
So, one day this summer I thought to myself, I want a Jeep again. I started looking online but I couldn’t find anything locally.
I broadened my search radius to 100 miles from home and that’s when I found this one… 90 miles away.
I contacted the dealer and confirmed it was still there. Two days later… I drove it home.
The part of this story that will interest you the most is, I sent 1 email out just 30 days earlier that covered the cost of this Jeep. See below:
I sent one email, to just one of my email lists, and it generated $32,205.95 in only 9 days. The price of my Jeep was $31,900.
1 email paid for my Jeep. 1 frickin’ email.
Email lists are assets. Plain and simple.
Your house is NOT an asset, much to the dismay of the general public.
Not unless it doubles as a meth lab that produces a reliable monthly income. ;-)
Assets, to me, put money back in your pocket on a consistent, reliable basis.
That’s exactly what an email list does.
