That’s a great question. Most people just ask which ones will work and I give them a list of like 20 different offers/niches.
However, you learn nothing from that list of 20 niches. It’s like… okay, cool… thanks.
But when you ask what DOESN’T work… it prompts me to tell you WHY it doesn’t work. What to avoid. What NOT to do. Make sense?
Today, though, I’m gonna do you a solid and give you both. What works and what doesn’t. Cool? Cool.

Alright, back to what works and what doesn’t.
Let’s start with what doesn’t work since it’s a shorter list.
Probably the biggest one, and this isn’t necessarily a niche but more so a strategy, is sending native ad traffic straight to an opt-in page/squeeze page.
It’s just not what the visitor is expecting. They’re expecting to read more content because that’s what the ads look like, content.
The ads are disguised as content on the publisher’s website.
Now, I say this won’t work but that’s a subjective statement and it depends on what your goals are for the campaign.
If you’re selling a $1,000 product then maybe you can afford to get a really low opt-in rate. If you’re promoting a clickbank product though, chances are the math just won’t work.
Next, and this is really the only other thing that won’t work… are very narrow, super-specific niches.
Niches like Bearded Dragon Care, Pencil Portrait Drawing, and Wedding Planning.
Those are all just too narrow of an audience for native ads. Native ads don’t offer a lot of targeting options so you have to be promoting something that appeals to the masses.
Here’s my list of niches that WILL work on native ads (hopefully this doesn’t send the spam alarms into a tizzy):
Background Check Tools
Bizopp (Business Opportunities)
Blood Pressure
Blood Sugar
CBD
Dating
Diabetes
Diet/Weight Loss
E-commerce Products
Erectile Dysfunction
Financial/Investing/Stocks/Forex
Hair Loss
Insurance (Auto/Home/Life)
Mortgages (New/Refi)
Skin Care
Solar Power (Lead-Gen/Clickbank DIY Products)
Survival/Self-Reliance
From that list there are three niches in particular that I consider to be “Goldmine Niches” for 2019.
Those three niches are… CBD, Nutra, and Bizopp. Nutra actually includes a number of the niches from that list but when I say Nutra I mean some kind of a health supplement.
No matter the economy, those three niches will always continue to perform well.
